Adam Watkin - Director

I am 41 years old raised on a beef and sheep farm in Mid Wales and the area I live and work today.

I studied mechanical engineering at the local college followed by 2 years at university where I gained a HND in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering.

I joined Trax JH Ltd as a Design Engineer in 2002 and progressed through the business to become Operations and Engineering Director at the age of 33 and Managing Director at the age of 36. Working with multiple OEM's across Europe within engineering and purchasing alongside worldwide travel developing products and customers to supply the automotive aftermarkets as well as developing suppliers in China.

Since becoming Managing Director I have diversified the business via acquisition to not be so reliant on one product group of wheel balance weights within the automotive sector. The company now also produces tyre sealants and a wide range of workshop chemical products alongside vehicle washing and hand soaps.

I enjoy farming and I have a workshop which I use for fabrication projects and keeping my two minis on the road. I live in Newtown Powys with my wife, two teenage sons and a Jack Russell
