Over 20 years experience in the automotive industry with Ford, JLR and Aston Martin as a Senior Manager in Manufacturing Engineering & Operations.

Alexandra George, Administrator 

Over 8 years Real Estate experience. Alex is responsible for event management, WAF administration and accounts as well as providing support to WAF Members.

Jessica Bradley, Administrator

Over 5 years’ experience in the public sector and 4 years in the construction Industry. Jess is responsible for accounts, WAF administration, supporting members and organising events.

Michael Straughan, OBE - Director 

Over 25 years experience in the automotive industry with Nissan, Volvo,  Jaguar Land Rover, LDV commercial vehicles,  Bentley Motors and Aston Martin.

Michael received an OBE in the King’s Birthday Honours list 2023 for Services to the Automotive Industry.

Ben Illingworth - Director 

Over 10 years in the automotive industry with JLR as a Procurement and Supplier Quality Director. During his tenure he has taken on a number of roles across capital programmes with responsibility for procurement of large-scale facility construction projects both in the U.K. and overseas.

 

Michael Evans - Chairman 

Founder and Managing Director of EBS with over 33 years experience in the automotive industry. Extensive experience of working in various market sectors from Automotive to Medical to countries around the world such as Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, Japan, India, UAE Spain, USA and Russia with a team of experienced engineers and apprentices.

 

Adam Watkin MCMI - Director 

Managing Director of Trax JH Ltd with over 22 years’ experience in the automotive industry. Adam has worked with multiple OEM’s across Europe within engineering and purchasing alongside worldwide travel developing products and customers to supply the automotive aftermarkets as well as developing suppliers in China.

 

Tim Williams MBE - Secretary 

Over 20 years experience within the automotive industry. 

Tim is a member of the UK Automotive Council – Supply Chain Group, Chair of Trustees for the Engineering Education Scheme Wales, a Regional Advisory Board Member of Make UK and a member of the Tech Valleys Strategic Advisory Board.
