The machine installation, relocation and industrial M & E specialist contractor has seen growth and development strategically evolve throughout the UK regions in 2016.
The passion for the sector and the skills Vanguard brings have been the fuel behind its growth along with the employment of key individuals and senior leadership brought into the company with specific expertise in the machine moving sector
The creation of new jobs has been very exciting for the team in Bridgend which becomes the company's new Head Office and Wales Regional Engineering depot. 7 new jobs have been created in the region as well as head office functions. These roles encompass both skilled mechanical and electrical site labour, operational management, administration and accountancy roles.
The office in Brynmenyn having been fully upgraded and extended using local Welsh companies now has facilities to house the in-house specialist plant, lifting equipment and tooling as well as a suite of offices and meeting rooms for client project discussions and training for the teams from our other UK regions.
The team were delighted that Rhys Webb was able to afford them his valuable time as he continues his training and development of his own fitness levels, however, training for fitness is not only for sports professionals but for well manged businesses too and they join him in developing their business growth, offering quality machinery relocation services to the Welsh industrial and manufacturing market.
CEO and Managing Director Alun Lane commented that "the sector has lacked a medium sized quality machine moving and M & E contractor for many years. Our strategy to professionally support the United Kingdom by establishing regional depots with in-house skilled labour has proved to be the right thing to do and what our customers have needed for some time. Vanguard offers the solution to machinery installation and relocation and we are incredibly pleased and proud to establish both our very own Welsh Team and have our head office functions in South Wales. Our plan is to recruit further from the local area and to enhance our own supply chain from Welsh suppliers thereby supporting the whole of the Welsh economy".
