The Academy has been developed by employers with the backing of the Sector Skills Council for Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies Alliance (SEMTA) and other manufacturing organisations including Engineering Employers’ Federation (EEF), British Marine Federation (BMF), Metskill, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) and Intellect.
